• post.3mc.tech (Dedicated Courier Site): A specialized platform for registering fixed delivery addresses using the @post suffix. Coordinates can be set only once and cannot be modified, offering a low-cost, stable solution for homes or pickup stations.
• 3mc.tech (Query Tool): A minimalist, no-registration-required tool for couriers and delivery personnel. By entering an Addressing Name and a 6-digit PIN code, they can quickly obtain coordinates and a simplified address for navigation.

• Addressing Name: Your core identity on the platform, formatted as username@suffix (e.g. john@me, shop@post). It binds to your location information.
• PIN Code: A 6-digit verification code set by you, used to authorize queries (e.g., by a courier) to access your location, ensuring privacy.
• Coordinates & Address: Latitude/Longitude for precise positioning, and a detailed textual address for  confirmation.

2. Step-by-Step Getting Started

Step 1: Choose Your Platform and Register

Your first step depends on your primary use case.

• For Personal/Business Flexible Addressing (Main Site):

  1. Visit vertiname.om.
  2. Click "Register" at the top right. You can register using your mobile number or email. Fill in the information, get the verification code, and set a secure password.
  3. Agree to the Vertiname Privacy Agreement and complete registration.
  4. After logging in, click "Register Addressing Name". Choose a username, select a suffix (@me for personal, @biz for business, @home for residential), and check its availability.
  5. Select a registration period (1, 3, 5, or 10 years), then fill in your binding information: detailed address, coordinates (you can use the map tool), and set a 6-digit PIN code.
  6. Proceed to payment via WeChat Pay or Alipay. Your addressing name is active immediately after successful payment.

• For a Fixed Delivery Address (Courier Site):

  1. Visit post.3mc.tech. The interface is dedicated to @post name registration.
  2. Enter your desired username (the @post suffix is added automatically) and check availability.
  3. Fill in your fixed delivery address and coordinates, and set a PIN code.
  4. Confirm the information and the price (¥1.99/year), then complete the payment. Important: Coordinates for @post names can be set only once during registration and have no modification interface.

Step 2: Managing Your Addressing Name (Main Site Users)

After registration, log into vertiname.om and go to "Personal Center - My Addressing Names" to manage your services.

• Modify: You can edit the bound address, coordinates, and PIN code for your @me,@biz or @home names.
• Delete: You can delete an addressing name. All associated information will be permanently removed.
• Renew: You will receive renewal reminders 30 days before expiration. Renew here to continue service.

Step 3: How to Query a Location (For Couriers/Delivery)

This is the process for the recipient (e.g., a courier) to find you.

1. Go to 3mc.tech. No login is needed.
2. On the simple query page, enter the full Addressing Name (e.g., jhon@post) and the corresponding 6-digit PIN Code provided by the user.
3. Click "Query Location Instantly".
4. Upon success, the page will display the coordinates and address, with direct navigation buttons to Gaode Maps, Baidu Maps, Tencent Maps, and cycling routes.

3. Key Policies for a Smooth Experience

• Privacy & Security: Your precise coordinates and address are sensitive information. The platform employs data encryption and access controls. Couriers can only see the location data needed for delivery when they have the correct PIN code; they cannot access your account, phone number, or email.
• Fees and Renewal: @post names cost ¥1.99/year. Other suffixes follow official pricing. Prices are displayed clearly before registration. The system sends renewal reminders before expiration.
• Name Policy: Addressing names must be unique. The platform prohibits names that violate laws, public order, infringe on others' rights, or are misleading. Automated checks and user reports help enforce this.
• Your Rights: You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information. You can withdraw consent or close your account at any time through the vertiname.om "Personal Center".
