Vertiname Platform Service Policy
This Service Policy is formulated in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China, the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, the Data Security Law, and the Internet Platform Price Behavior Rules. It has the same legal effect as the Vertiname Privacy Agreement and the Vertiname Platform User Guide. By using the services of this Platform (vertiname.om, 3mc.tech, post.3mc.tech), you are deemed to have agreed to all the terms of this Policy.
I. Service Scope and Standards
1.1 The core services provided by this Platform include: Addressing Name registration and management, coordinate and address binding, addressing information query, account maintenance, payment settlement, etc. Specific service content is subject to the actual display and functions of each platform.
1.2 Service Availability: The Platform will strive to ensure stable operation of the services, committing to a normal operation time of no less than 99.5%. The Platform shall not be liable for indirect losses caused by service interruptions due to system maintenance, server failures, network issues, force majeure, etc. The Platform will promptly notify users through official channels and complete repairs as soon as possible.
1.3 Service Differentiation: The vertiname.om main site provides full-featured addressing name management services, supporting operations such as coordinate modification and account closure. post.3mc.tech only provides registration services for addressing names with the @post suffix, where coordinates can be set only once and cannot be modified. 3mc.tech only provides addressing information query services, usable without registration. The service rules of each platform are strictly implemented in accordance with this Policy and the User Guide.
II. Rights and Obligations of Both Parties
2.1 Rights and Obligations of the Platform
- Rights: The Platform reserves the right to adjust service content, price standards, and service rules based on business development and updates to laws and regulations. Notices of adjustments will be published in prominent positions on the homepage of each platform. The Platform has the right to handle user violations, including but not limited to suspending services, terminating services, and deleting addressing names. The Platform has the right to refuse service to users who violate laws, regulations, or this Policy.
- Obligations: Provide services strictly in accordance with this Policy and related agreements, ensuring service quality; Strictly protect users' personal information and privacy security, handle user information in accordance with the Vertiname Privacy Agreement, without leakage, misuse, or illegal transfer; Respond promptly to user inquiries, complaints, and feedback, providing processing results within 7 working days; Provide clear and transparent price information, with marked prices, without price gouging or big data-based price discrimination, strictly complying with the relevant requirements of the Internet Platform Price Behavior Rules.
2.2 Rights and Obligations of Users
- Rights: Users have the right to use the various services provided by the Platform in accordance with this Policy and the User Guide; The right to query and modify their own account information and information related to non-@post suffix addressing names; The right to provide opinions and suggestions on the Platform's services; The right to complain to the Platform or seek legal remedies when their legitimate rights and interests are infringed.
- Obligations: Provide true, accurate, and complete registration information and binding information, and shall not provide false information or impersonate others; Properly safeguard account passwords, PIN codes, and other information, and be responsible for all operations under the account. Losses caused by improper self-custody, such as account theft or information leakage, shall be borne by the user; Comply with laws, regulations, and the relevant provisions of this Policy and the User Guide, and shall not use the Platform's services to engage in illegal, infringing, or activities that harm the rights and interests of third parties; Shall not maliciously register or hoard addressing names, nor use addressing names for illegal purposes; Pay service fees on time. Failure to pay on time will be deemed as automatic abandonment of the service. The relevant addressing name will be suspended. If renewal fees are not paid for more than 3 months after expiration, the relevant information will be deleted.
III. Service Fees and Payment Policy
3.1 Fee Standards: The Platform's services are clearly priced. The @post suffix addressing name is priced at ¥1.99/year. The @me, @biz, and @home suffix addressing names are priced according to official standards. Price information will be clearly displayed on the registration page for users to view and confirm during registration. Price adjustments will be announced on the homepage of each platform 7 working days in advance.
3.2 Payment Methods: Supports legal payment channels such as WeChat Pay and Alipay. After the user completes the payment, the system will automatically activate the corresponding service. Payment records can be queried in the "Order Management" section of the vertiname.om main site. Service fees already incurred will not be refunded after payment is completed (unless otherwise agreed).
3.3 Refund Rules: After successfully registering an addressing name, if a user applies for a refund due to their own reasons (e.g., incorrect filling, no longer needed, etc.), they may apply within 7 working days from the date of successful registration. Applications beyond this period will not be accepted. The refund will deduct the service fees already incurred (calculated based on the actual number of days used), and the remaining amount will be refunded to the original payment method. If the service cannot be used normally due to reasons attributable to the Platform, the user may apply for a full refund. The Platform will complete the refund within 7 working days after receiving the application.
3.4 Renewal Reminder: The system will send renewal reminders to users via SMS, email, etc., 30 days before the addressing name expires. Users need to complete the renewal before the expiration date. If the renewal is not completed on time, the addressing name will be suspended. During the suspension period, users can still apply for renewal to restore the service. If the renewal fee is not paid for more than 3 months after expiration, the addressing name and related information will be deleted and will no longer be retained.
IV. Service Modification, Suspension, and Termination
4.1 Service Modification: The Platform may modify service content, service rules, or service methods based on business development, technological upgrades, updates to laws and regulations, etc. After modification, a notice will be published in a prominent position on the homepage of each platform. Continued use of the service by the user shall be deemed as acceptance of the modified content. If the user does not agree to the modification, they may apply to terminate the service and process a refund (calculated based on the actual number of days used).
4.2 Service Suspension: The Platform has the right to suspend services if the user falls under any of the following circumstances: Failure to pay service fees on time; Providing false information or impersonating others; Violating the provisions of this Policy and the User Guide, engaging in违规 activities; The account poses security risks; Other circumstances where laws and regulations require service suspension. After service suspension, the user may apply to restore the service after correcting the违规 behavior and settling any outstanding fees.
4.3 Service Termination: The Platform has the right to terminate the service without any liability under the following circumstances: The user seriously violates this Policy and related agreements and fails to correct after being reminded; The user applies to close the account; The service expires and renewal fees are not paid for more than 3 months; Other circumstances where laws and regulations require service termination; The service cannot be continued due to force majeure. After service termination, the user's account and related information will be processed in accordance with the Vertiname Privacy Agreement.
V. Disclaimer
5.1 The Platform shall not be liable for service interruptions, delays, information loss, etc., caused by force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government actions, network interruptions, server failures, third-party service anomalies, etc.), but will endeavor to minimize losses and notify users promptly.
5.2 Losses caused by the user's own improper operation, account password leakage, or incorrect information filling shall be borne by the user, and the Platform shall not be liable.
5.3 The Platform only provides addressing information-related services and does not participate in third-party activities such as courier delivery or goods transactions. The Platform shall not be liable for losses caused by third-party actions.
5.4 If a user uses the Platform's services to engage in illegal, infringing, or other activities, resulting in losses to themselves or third parties, the user shall bear all responsibility. If losses are caused to the Platform, the user shall be liable for compensation.
5.5 The Platform makes no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the services. All consequences arising from the user's use of the services shall be borne by the user.
VI. Prohibited Name Policy
6.1 To comply with relevant laws and regulations such as the Cybersecurity Law of the People's Republic of China and the Internet Information Service Management Regulations, maintain platform order, public interest, and the legitimate rights and interests of others, and standardize addressing name registration behavior, the following scope of prohibited names and related handling rules are defined. All users must strictly comply with this clause when registering and using addressing names.
6.2 Scope of Prohibited Names:
- Names that violate national laws, regulations, and public order and good customs, including but not limited to those promoting violence, pornography, gambling, terrorism, cults, feudal superstition, inciting ethnic hatred or discrimination, undermining national unity, spreading rumors, or disturbing social order;
- Names related to state organs and national functional departments, including but not limited to words with significant political characteristics such as "China," "Central," "National," "Chinese," "People's Congress," "People," "Discipline Inspection," "Supervision," "Petition," etc., which shall not be used without written approval from the relevant competent authorities;
- Impersonating the real names, aliases, stage names, or pen names of Party and state leaders or well-known figures, or impersonating the names of other institutions, enterprises, or social organizations;
- Names that are deceptive, misleading, likely to cause misunderstanding, or highly similar to other users' addressing names with malicious intent to confuse;
- Names containing advertising, commercial promotion, or containing insults, defamation, or infringement of the legitimate rights and interests of others;
- Other names deemed inappropriate, non-standard, likely to affect platform service order, or detrimental to public interest as determined by the Platform.
6.3 Handling Rules: - Registration Review: When a user registers an addressing name, the system will automatically review the name. If it is detected to fall within the scope of prohibited names, the registration application will be directly rejected, and the user will be prompted to change the name.
- Subsequent Verification: The Platform will regularly verify registered addressing names and also accept user reports. Once a prohibited name is discovered, the Platform has the right to take measures such as suspending use or deleting the addressing name without prior notice to the user. Any losses arising therefrom shall be borne by the user.
- User Responsibility: If a user maliciously registers a prohibited name or circumvents the review to use a prohibited name, the Platform has the right to terminate all their services. In serious cases, relevant legal responsibilities will be pursued.
- Exception Explanation: If a user has a legitimate need to use a name within the prohibited scope of this clause (e.g., an enterprise legally using its registered name), they must submit relevant supporting materials and a written application to the Platform in advance. Use is permitted only after Platform review and approval.
VII. Policy Updates and Interpretation
7.1 This Service Policy will be revised according to updates to laws and regulations and adjustments to the Platform's services. After revision, it will be published in a prominent position on the homepage of each platform, and the update date will be marked accordingly. The revised Policy takes effect from the date of publication. Continued use of the service by the user shall be deemed as acceptance of the revised content.
7.2 The final interpretation right of this Service Policy belongs to the Platform. If users have questions about this Policy, they may consult through official contact channels.
